what is your vision for the world?
People without artificial divisions like nationality, race, religion, ethnicity and above all without the manipulation of those politically-minded scaremongers who are driven by the fear that if they do not control the population all chaos will ensue, or by even more destructive motives.

Fear is our greatest enemy and love, compassion, patience, care, respect, tolerance, humility, truth, hope, belief (which means "light of heart" in early modern English) communication and the radiation and sharing of the best of ourselves and our gifts are our tools. Our diversity is the reflection at a human level of the love of this Great Mother, the Earth, for multiplicity in her art and expression - we cannot even count the species of flora and fauna she produces. For this reason one of my favourite sayings is "By Art We Live".

However, this is just a starting platform. What is to come is a great deal of hard work by a growing family of individuals, which is why I have subtitled this profile "A Nation of Souls". Browse this group. Read different blogs, threads, dialogues. Let your imagination fly loose - it is only as small or as large as your mental birdcage, a cage that does not exist in reality.

Dare to hope that you can move with something that is not some weird new religion or naive idealistic -ism. Don't be put off when some of us use words like God or essence - I am aware that they are not fashionable words, but please do not patronise us by thinking that we mean an old gentleman sitting up in some heaven judging us while we suffer in hell, or that we are starry eyed New Agers covered in aromatherapy oils. We are people of action. Considered, compassionate but effective, and many of us have proven track records in many spheres.
About Me:
I am an ex teacher and trainer of both children and adults, now a broadcaster, a mental healer,an enabler and a man driven by a Future vision. See visionshack link below for Radio stuff & blogs

What are the creative skills that you feel you have or would like to develop.
Enabler and Connector.
Public speaker and broadcaster with own monthly radio show "Vision Shack".
Motivator and crucible-former of change.
Teacher of the uncommon.
Theatrical director & actor
I wish to learn to make better original music, and finish a novel, but don't know if I will have the time.

NEXT VISION SHACK THURSDAY MAY 1ST NOON UK TIME "WOMEN IN THE 21ST CENTURY"

I have now started a new group on Ning for Vision Shack broadcasts which you can see by clicking on: http://visionshack.ning.com/
I will delete the uploaded programs here apart from the interview with Seinde and the Fela Kuti track which reminds me of Seinde and our work. I will also delete the links to resources concerning the issues, many of which are to do with global sustainability and new ways of living etc, but they are already moved to the new Vision Shack group.
This way I can keep this page for issues, writings and recordings to do with World Family and on the other group expand on the scope and depth of the Radio show, while having an address for listeners to remember easily and writings/resources on specific issues from each show and for a more interactive relationship for RadioReverb listeners who can leave comments and questions relating to the programs.
This will also allow me to post research resources prior to a program for my next guests to consider or even debate and contribute. Eventually, after the celebrations in Nigeria, I hope to edit a book with chapters written or contributed to by all of my guests.
I haven't gone anywhere :-) It's all just a click away.
You can still use the address http://www.radioreverb.com/ to listen to the show live at 12.00 noon British Time (currently GMT or UT + 1 hour) now regular and live on the first Thursday of every month, or go to the Vision Shack group (1 or 2 days) after transmission for a recording of the show.

Andrew Mwenda's talk

I am embedding this video from a resource called T.E.D because it seems to run so parallel to Seinde's message to use. It is one of many, and adds weight to the essence of what Seinde is doing - the difference is Seinde is not just addressing an elite in special think tanks and universities, he is addressing ordinary people too.

Extract of Email from a Friend who has worked in Baby Milk Action most of her life

I received an email today drawing my attention to her obituary for one of the pioneers of the Baby Milk Action initiative. Here is the relevant extract:

Just thought you might be interested to see my Obituary for Dr Natividad Clavano today’s paper (p36). Her work in the 70s was really important gave foundation to our campaign. It showed that decisive action really can make a difference to child survival.

After applying for a chance to edit half a BBC Radio4 Today program with 2 others, Paul Chi and Jocelyn Jones my instincts (and discussions with a most intelligent friend) tell me that our direct, unbranded approach may not fit with the very distinct branding that stations like Radio 4 cling to in fear of anything they do not recognise or is "off their screen".

Which made me consider what is our "branding" - this is not a suggestion that we invent one, but an indicator of cultural valu… Continue

To Whomever It May Concern

There will be World Peace
So why are we waiting?
Why don't you catch up with us all
And give up your incessant debating?

Don't you know that all your prating
Is a waste of time?
That Time itself is sitting on the back-burner
Shaking in anticipation?

If I hate thee I am not better than thou art
But it is hard to feel compassion
For those so hard of heart.

There WILL be World Peace,
So why are we waiting? …

Fear is the only enemy... and it is made of nothing but fear, which is an emptiness, it actually is not real any more than darkness

Thoughts around the Global Initiative promoted by Olaseinde Arigbede

People are afraid. They are afraid of being alone. They are afraid of death. Few will admit it, but everyone who has not faced their own mortality and found the other side that exists uniquely for them is afraid.…

Dear Louis,
I said this on my post, but I dont know if anyone noticed...I need help with a slogan for the website. I have a few ideas, but none I can think of sound right to me. Here a few of the slogans I have come up with..perhaps you can elaboarte on them or make them flow better:
1. "We are the change agents of the future"
2. " There is a better way"
3. "We are one worldfamily"
see?.:)...I am having a bad case of writers block right now..help:)
Love,
Seyi.

It feels great to have such energetic people like you in the Family. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Not only am I supporting my father in what he is doing, I infact share in his vision as well. I was brought up to see the world through the same lens.

Hello Louis,

Thanks for your mail. I am deeply honoured. My husband came back home with a whole load of ideas and information on which I had to ruminate and diggest, plus the fact that I am just beginning to get acquainted with the internet. Hence my delay in responding.

I am struck by the level at which people came together and responded whole heartedly to create our family, The World Family. Like I was saying to our mutual friend Jocelyn, it has always been my prayer for those who are deeply concerned to touch and join hands across the seas. It is happening and I am blessed to be part of the unfolding process.

It is a priviledge to know and share in your wealth of experience. There are many visionaries in the family. This is wonderful. We are poised to make a change for the better. This is our purpose, this is our mission.

Thanks again and stay blessed.
Dunni.

Hi Louis, Thanks for your welcome and advice. Yes, I had quite a lot of contact with Seinde when he was in England - I hosted an event for him in Bristol, at which I also performed, attended another, and then we shared a room at the Walk Your Talk conference, so I got to know him and his ideas quite well and was deeply inspired by him as a person and his powerful message. The session which Seinde hosted at the conference is being hailed by many as the most inspired of the many sessions offered there. It was on the topic of good and evil and generated some very powerful emotions in the group. In fact the group that was set up as a result of that talk are supposed to be moving wholesale over to World Family, which will be great. Louis, I believe we met once at a healthy concert in Brighton - the one where the newspaper journalist came and took photos and ran an article for the Independent. All best wishes, John
