WorldFamily

Global Community

For us in Better World Cameroon, the One World Spirit is not just a phrase. it a way of life.that is why we are calling on change of life style of youth for peace and a clean environment. For me, World Family is a Place to Begin.

In order for us to creat a Better World, we must think with a one world spirit, that is, looking at the world as a Global Village, a situation where one's troubles are the trobles of the others.

Hello Laura,

I am so pleased that you have joined the World Family ning social network. Please do encourage the rest of the new breed of volunteers at Ndanifor to join the network! We need lots of conversations going on; it gives us all strength to belief in our vision for a better world.
I received a lovely pdf today written by Roseline about your BSNC group linking with the Newcastle Horticultural college. What a wonderful thing to do! I hope that the young people in Newcastle will respond to your gesture with enthusiasm and that, one day, it will be possible to arrange educational and cultural exchanges.
About Ndanifor garden: I would really like to know if there has been a sound biodiversity survey undertaken with a view to creating a management plan that will conserve and enhance biodiversity on the site AND add to the productive potential of the garden as a soucre of food high in nutritional value. I think the approach of permaculture is likely to be very helpful.
In the district where I live in England there is no local permaculture group, so we are going to create a Permaculture Action Network for the district to generate interest in creating a project around which a group can form. Something like Ndanifor, perhaps?
It all takes time, and lots of patience, but if we learn to love nature and to help to restore the earth, and show young people that it is a better way than exploitation, we will have a beautiful, graceful reward, I'm sure. By the way, is the new workshop building in use for training and teaching yet?
Keep up the good volunteering!
Best wishes, Robert.
