my dearest world family members,it is indeed a great fortune brought across to me for meeting most of u,i have a great gist for u all,truely, it is the greatest secret of usmefanoouchapter,pls,do not tell any one,this group of young,energetic and dynamic scholars are currently tilling the land,they are planning to organise their own state festival to start up their advocasy job and by Gods grace will be launching the establishment of usmefan in ogun state nigeria(yewa campus).pls endeavor to comply when they invite u for any of this in 2009.ay God spear our lives till then

You have nothing to fear from us. We are here to support you by advocacy in the UK and elsewhere. We are aware of your situation, and I advise you to stay in close contact with the leadership of USMEFAN who can advise you over any difficulties you may have. Listen to your elders and support your sisters and brothers.

I have pledged to be an honorary elder of your young people and I will do everything I can to change things at a level that we hope will have an effect on all nations. We are at a time of great change.

Finally be assured that whoever is the host of the next Festival for USMEFAN, we will be there.

Jocelyn, Tom and I have just returned from London. I am very tired after a long day, but we have made a lot of good connections today. Who knows where they will lead. Jocelyn is away to India in 2 days, and I have a big meeting tomorrow, but I will try to give an impression of the meeting in the next few days.

Good to hear from you. It was a really good meeting with a wonderful talk from Father Edilberto from Brazil and some very good people with a great array of skills and knowledge. I will type up as much as I can before I go away but I am sure Louis will be able to give a fuller report.

How I see it is that this is the beginning of a series of collaborations and the development of an enriched network. It will take time to find out who we can work with and how. My feeling is that advocacy relationships could become active quite quickly, financially supportive ones will probably be slower.

But I can say that your voice and 'Seinde's and the students' were heard and responded to well and Father Edilberto was speaking with the same voice and very eloquently and with much knowledge of the whole of Latin America and the struggles there. And now I must sleep!
