WorldFamily

Global Community

I have been away in the village to communion with the peasant family world of wich my mother was one. She told me as she first taught me small holder faming that "one who puts the hands in the soil will never suffer in life. That was true until recently.
What went wrong?

Dear Joshuah.

Thanks for a great report. Jocelyn and I are going to be addressing the UKFood Group at their Annual General Meeting a week today, Tuesday 24th in London. We only have 5 minutes but we have been working on a document which we will present as a "duet" in short and hand out as a longer document afterwards. We will be inviting any of 36 NGOs to approach us for further meetings if they are interested in our partners.

The aim of the presentation is to obtain support for particularly our 3 partners who need practical, financial and advocacy support: USMEFAN, BWC and BCEP.

I will be posting that document when it is finished.

My condolences on the passing of your mother. I am deeply moved that you have used her passing constructively to further the great work you are engaged in. She will be smiling upon you I am quite sure, proud of the contribution her son is making. I am proud of you as my brother.

We will be in touch soon.

Love and Blessings,
Louis.

GOOD TO HEAR FROM U MR JOSHUA
The world family has come to stay and this is going to be for good. a word to all out there that we should keep the fire burning and collaborate to do a greater work into the future. we need not to worry if the beginning is small because the end will justify the means. happy to be back on cause!

Hi Dayo,

Very good to hear from you too. Happy to hear your faith and remember your energy and capacity to inspire. Only a few days ago I was looking with Caspar at some of the footage of you and others speaking to the camera. Some of it was really excellent. And yesterday I was speaking about the Festival to a woman who is interested in selling Nigerian carvings and pictures to raise funds for World Family / USMEFAN.

Would it be possible for you to put up a discussion on the forum, telling everyone what is happening in the USMEFAN Youth Wing and give an idea of what you have planned for this year?

Here in Brighton we will put up a condensed version of what we have been doing and our plans.

It is very important that we all know what each other are doing so we can tackle the big issues effectively and support each others' work well.

E ku ise o - love and blessings to you and all your brothers and sisters in USMEFAN. How has planting gone this year? What is happening with the rains?

Jocelyn
